fit me right in

i think i would be right at home in this eclectic space. i love how the furniture, walls & floor are all white and chairs, accessories and accent walls bring pops of color.

this looks like a nice cozy corner for reading a book or taking a nap.

that turquoise looks so amazing how it is placed in complimentary areas in the space.

i always dreamed of a patio like this with space with wide open doors.

ok when do i move in?

don’t go with the flow…

just came across this card from my older sister. not dated but i think it is a graduation card. {remember to always date your cards & letters} it is a KOCO NY card, art by designer janeen koconis. i like his polka dot bow tie.

the inside reads “i don’t believe in circumstances. rather than blaming their circumstances, the people who get on in this world create their own.” ~ george bernard shaw.
the back side reads  p.s. “the quality of the imagination is to flow.”~  r.w. emerson

advice taken.

style crush

i have been watching a bit of the 24 hour catwalk on lifetime, not 100% in love with the show it doesn’t get me like the old bravo project runway used to but I do admit that I have a huge style crush on alexa chung. she is the latest “it” girl for veromoda’s spring/ january february collection. i adore.

just because i loved it so much

i came across an image of lisa congdon’s collection a day and it reminded me how much i loved that project. it just amazes me how she creates these projects that are both exciting and challenging. i had to look back and share some of my favorite collections that she photographed. she is currently working on 365 days of hand lettering on her blog. i must say she is quite an inspiration.

madewell springs forward

i think i could wear all the 24 looks in the the madewell spring lookbook. they really what this girl wants to wear. the collection is full of pinstripes, garden hints, polka dots and the so hot right now COLORBLOCKING. now if that doesn’t brighten your day i don’t know what would. pretty much obsessed, kind of makes me all anxious inside and it hurts a little.

framework

hate to say it but i think it is about that time to make an appointment with the eye doctor. vision is not 100% like it used to be, not sure if it is just too much eye strain from working on the computer or just dying vision and a constant eye twitching to correct eek! if i do need glasses you better believe i will be on a spectacle search for the best frames i can find and maybe i will make a poster about it. they sure do make a statement and can become somewhat legendary. this series of iconic posters from framegeek got me thinking spectacles could be fun.

kanye’s “shutter shade”

yves saint laurent simple black frames

andy warhol’s excistence was a work of art

ghandi’s minimalist look
