it’s a mooonday! yay!

have you seen the documentary project nim? it was created by the team of the oscar award winning man on wire? of course i love animals so this was on my must-see list. i just watched it this past week–it was unusual and a little heartbreaking but recommended. got me thinking apes and monkey business.

as a creative type my mind is never at a stop. no matter what project i am working on my mind is continually ‘working’. always thinking, always searching for more inspiration or the solution to a design. i am even lucky enough to design some things in my sleep <— that could be a curse or a blessing, not sure which. i thought i would start making moodboards as an exercise to share some trends i am seeing and things i just love and want to share. enjoy & happy weekend!

Why I love Elephants

elephants have always amazed me and i think i know when my obsession began…the stylish babar. babar captivated me growing up, i loved watching the show on sunday mornings—i think it was on HBO if i remember correctly. so many memories while browsing through the book the art of babar. i really enjoyed seeing the beginnings and the continuation of the babar artwork by jean and laurent de brunhoff. this year marks the 80th anniversary of babar. keep stealing hearts babar, congrats <3
