yay! so excited for today and to share the start of my new styled series. i love photography and i love fashion so it wasn’t hard for me to dream up this idea. i really hope you enjoy the first of many posts and are inspired by all the super photos by foto of pola esther. i think i have told you many times how amazing and talented she is. i have shared her work here and here. part of me hurts to add graphic elements to her photos because they are so beautiful as is.

i always love red nails. so classic. when i can’t decide what color to paint, red is always the color of choice. this bone ring is from my neighbor flavours of life—always a go to place for unique finds. this photo reminds me of these 1960′s vogue covers i found. vogue—strike a pose.

tweed is a closet staple. i just bought this tweed jacket back in november and i am already wearing it out a bit. it is vintage after all—but i will be sure to maintain for next season. it was a lucky find from tova’s vintage shop (remember when i found these vintage hallmark postcard set?, same place) it has a great 60′s feeling to it that i love. i can always throw it over anything and suddenly i’m chic and stylish.

like coco chanel says, “a woman with good shoes is never ugly.” i make it very important in my life to have good shoes and they are usually the pops of color in my outfit. these royal blue ones are perfect with grey tights. the shoes are naughty monkey’s closet from zappos. i know, doesn’t sound right but so hot—right?

this express sweater is a favorite of mine. i literally am wearing it right now as i am creating this post. i throw it over everything. i admit for about 4 months i wore it upside down, it is supposed to be a shorter, more gathered sweater but sometimes i prefer it long and draped.
that lace summer dress is from h&m. great for layering. kinda feel like a big doily in it.

the lights on this wall are pretty amazing!
for my little styled recap: don’t be afraid to layer, add pops of color with accessories and don’t ignore the stripes trend, in my eyes lines are always good.
when in doubt, tie a bow.
tata for now. kisses for ania and susan for all your help and creativity.

Patti, you are amazing! Love this post!
